Our Story:
Bastian Productions started with a camera, a dream, and a big life shift.
After graduating from the LA Film School in 2008, Derek moved back to Boise from Hollywood and started working as a videographer for different production companies. In 2020 he and Brittany welcomed their first baby—and everything changed.
With Brittany staying home and Derek working a full-time video job, they quickly realized how much of those early family moments Derek was missing. It didn’t feel right. So, they made a big decision: leave the 9-to-5 grind behind and start their own video production company, one that gave them creative freedom and control over how they spent their time.
Since then, Bastian Productions has grown thanks to the trust of amazing clients in Boise and beyond. We love what we do, and we’re so grateful to tell stories that matter—on our own terms.
